Mr. Japheth Kassanga’s work experience within the music industry and the media fraternity dates back to 1978 when he released the first single record with Mulango Joint Choir, being the sole composer and the Director of the Mulango Joint Choir as well as the Deputy Director of AIC Jericho Choir. HE serve as a Director and Deputy Director for the respective choirs till mid 1990’s when he relinquished the leadership positions to venture into his own family music ministry and the music profession in collaboration with his own wife Mrs. Anne Kassanga.



The duo released the famous Hit Maisha ya Mwanadamu ni Kama Maua which lasted the top Kenyan Charts for more than two years. The couple later released other album volumes up to volume (4) Four. Anne and Japheth Kassanga have been involved in the production and promotions of Gospel Music where they have raised many top gospel artistes from Kenya, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo and have promoted more than one hundred and fifty (150) artistes among them, Esther Wahome, Joan Mwangangi, Ruth Wamuyu, Yusto Onesmo, Angela Chibalonza (late), Faith Kithele, Zipporah Muoso among many others. The couple opened several music shops in Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru for the marketing of the Gospel music. During his undergraduate studies in music thereafter, Mr Kassanga worked as a music lecturer at Daystar University alongside other local Institutions where he continued to teach music as part timer while at eh same time consulting with the then VOK which came to be known later as KBC in the area of TV Gospel music programs, namely Sing and Shine and the Joy Bringers where he was responsible for training and ushering in musicians to be featured in the programs. He later became a consultant for local media houses in the small field.

Mr. & Mrs. Kassanga have been awarded a number of trophies for their outstanding contribution in the music industry. Among those awarded to the couple include; Awards from KISIMA AWARDS, GROOVE AWARDS, AFFLEWO AWARDS, KENYAN CHURCH FESTIVAL AWARD AND THE PRESIDENTIAL Recognition award, THE OREGER OF THE GRAND WORRIOR. – OGW. Ann and Japheth Kassanga are the Directors of Hitscore Studios which has recorded Hit artistes and choirs among them:- The AIC Shinyanga Choir-TZ, AIC Tumaini, Kolandoto –Shinyanga, AIC Jericho Choir, AIC Mwadui Choir, Tz, ABC Makadara, Ruth Wamuyu, Billy Frank, ABC Starehe, Florence Mureithi, AIC Umoja, Marion Shako, Eunice Njeri and hundreds of other groups and single artist. Mr. Kassanga besides having served as a board member in the Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO) is still serving as a Director in many other Boards in Kenya including a director in the Kenya Associations of Music Producers (KAMP) and in the AIC Biblia Husema Broadacasting (BHB). He is a leader in the administration of copyright and within the Kenyan music fraternity. The couple is also dressed with (4) four children aged between 12 and 21 years old.

The studio is established in a peaceful suburb section of Nairobi. This provides you with a quiet, favourable environment needed for recording.







We have two fully compatible spacious studios. One caters large groups and the other for smaller ensembles. We provide you with a wide array access to a large array of Midi gear, microphones, percussions, drum sets and guitars thus enabling you achieve the quality you envision and desire.
